Volunteering in Madagascar…

Volunteer Project 2 – Madagascar
THANK YOU!
Before we provide an overview of our experience volunteering in Sainte Luce, Madagascar, we wanted to firstly thank all those that donated to this cause. Madagascar is one on Africa’s poorest nations and endangered ecosystems. The life expectancy for men is 52 and women is 55. Roughly 12% of people die before the age of 5.
65% of the population in Madagascar fall below the recognised International poverty line of $1.25USD per day.
Overland Safari 2 – Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe Diary….
Day 11: Vic Falls Rest Camp, where we stayed for 4 nights, was a beautiful campsite located in the heart of Town in Victoria Falls. Our private room came with a double bed and refrigerator and a shared bathroom. It was a great change from a tent. The campsite was huge. There was a gorgeous pool and sunbaking area. Beside the pool was the bar and restaurant and we had a couple of really yummy meals here, one of which Pete tried ‘Pumba’ (warthog) Schnitzel.

Many others were keen to take the microphone after that…
Overland Safari 1 – departs from Kenya

Our first Overland Safari was a 32 day tour through Eastern Africa. We travelled from Kenya through to Uganda, onto Rwanda and finished with a week in Tanzania – our last stop being the beautiful Zanzibar. We averaged about a week in each country and although there were some long drive days, our itinerary was jam packed with game drives, nature walks, adrenaline junkie activities, relaxation and many funny moments with our fellow travellers.
RV Trip USA – Yosemite National Park

After 4 brilliant days in San Francisco we were back on the road and heading for Yosemite National Park. The drive from San Fran takes around 4 hours or 190 miles and as we arrived around midnight, we conveniently parked our mobile home on the side of a road and waited until morning to begin exploring.
